The Texas State University Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) strives to educate the campus community about stormwater and provide useful, up-to-date information about how we can protect the San Marcos River and surrounding bodies of water for future generations. The SWMP has been implemented as part of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit. The program is a campus-wide initiative that strives to improve the quality of water that is discharged to our waterways.
