September 2022 TXST Quarterly Team Award Winners

For the first time in 20 years, Texas State University underwent a branding overhaul which included new logos, secondary colors, and a nationally televised Next Is Now video. These new visual elements can be found throughout the University on banners, flags, and online.
While most universities pay external marketing firms to design and implement their branding campaign strategy, TXST NEXT was handled internally from start to finish by the members of University marketing. This not only helped save the University millions of dollars, is also has led to an increase in awareness of TXST and fundraising dollars received.
This semester, the University welcomed its largest freshman class ever. While there are many factors that contributed to this growth, the TXST NEXT campaign is undoubtedly a key reason for the increased engagement and awareness of the University. This campaign is not just being noticed on campus, but across the entire state. The team has even been honored by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for their efforts.
Though the NEXT campaign team my be small in number, their strategic vision and creativity are having an almost immeasurable impact on the advancement and growth of Texas State.
