EOM Winner September'22

Brittny Chain, Program Coordinator for the College of Health Professions, was selected as the September 2022 Employee of the Month. 

Brittny helps oversee the daily operations of the College of Health Professions clinics. She played a key role in implementing a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and continues to take the lead in managing the EMR today. In addition, she the helps troubleshoot any technological issues her team faces which includes maintaining copy machines, fax machines, printers, and computer work stations.  

She supervises and trains student workers so that they are prepared with the knowledge and skills to handle the day-to-day operations of the clinic. She greets customers and their families with a warm, welcoming attitude and has built key relationships with other departments on the Round Rock Campus. 

Brittny always has the customer in mind, even in the face of unexpected challenges and obstacles. During the winter freeze of 2021 and the central Texas tornado outbreak of Spring 2022, Brittny ensured that the College of Health Profession’s business continuity plan was implemented successfully to continue providing efficient service to customers and patients.  

From providing crisis support to patients in need to giving directions to visitors, Brittny takes pride in providing excellent customer service no matter how large or small the task is.
